Labour supporters call for electoral change
Despite the headline landslide victory (or maybe because of it), Labour grassroots and commentators are calling out for electoral change.
Before a single vote was cast, Labour supporter and commentator Polly Toynbee penned an opinion piece in the Guardian declaring that although Labour would likely win the election with a large majority, the opportunity to change the voting system has arrived. She pointed out that many senior Labour MPs, now members of the cabinet, were in favour, as were most unions.
If the result is grossly disproportionate, Labour would have a moral obligation to voters to bring in a fairer system.

As we saw, the result was grossly disproportionate: Labour won roughly two-in-three seats with one-in-three votes.
Post the election, more calls for change are coming from the Labour ranks: for example, in this article by Labour for Electoral Reform the authors call on the government to restore trust in politics by replacing our flawed First Past the Past voting system.
We wholeheartedly agree. It's time for Keir Starmer to do as he said he would: put country before party.
