Elections Bill - the fight is still on Thank you to everyone who has backed our anti-Elections Bill campaign by lobbying MPs and peers at key stages of the bill's passage through Parliament.
Many of us have been shocked by how the current government has been able to remove fundamental protections and expand undemocratic measures (refugees being deemed 'illegal', the right to protest taken away, the independence of the electoral committee hollowed out and FPTP being expanded further to future Mayoral elections).
We've kicked off the year with energy and an unwavering focus on our goal: to secure a commitment to implement PR for Westminster in the first King's speech after the next General Election.
Our politics is out of touch because Parliament doesn't fairly reflect how we vote. We need Proportional Representation so everyone's voice is heard.
